Key Stages
In the UK, the school system is split into five stages: Early Years (or Reception); Key Stage 1, encompassing school Years 1 and 2; Key Stage 2, from Years 3 to 6; Key Stage 3, from Years 7 to 9; and Key Stage 4, school Years 10 to 11.
